Save the planet - go Earth friendly. This is the year for gifts with a green theme!
I just got an interesting appliance. Called the Soda Club Machine, it’s a home soda maker with a footprint small enough to fit on any kitchen counter. Whether you say soda, soda pop, sodie pop, cola or bubble water, there’s no doubt Americans consume more carbonated beverages than anyone else on Earth.

Soda Club’s made well enough to last and to produce great beverages, in seconds, consistently. I’m impressed. Last night, I needed seltzer to serve with a great shrimp salad -and I was out! No time to run to the store. I filled a one-liter bottle with chilled, filtered water from my fridge, screwed it onto the Soda Club, pressed the CO2 button 6 times. Voila! I had fresh, sparkly, bubbly seltzer my guests loved. The cost? Almost nothing. The price of a glass of tap water.
